Join Matt - aka the Mountain Bear - for a hiking adventure.

An adventure through one of the Peak District's most picturesque landscapes, this hike showcases breath-taking views of the High Peak, lush woodlands, and tranquil reservoirs of the Goyt Valley.

We'll meander through diverse terrains, taking you past the tranquil waters of the Errwood Reservoir, the ruins of the famous Errwood Hall, Windgather Rocks, Cats Tor and our highest point, Shining Tor. Alongthe way there are superb panormaic views as well as, hopefully, opportunities to spot local wildlife.

Distance: Approximately 13 miles. We estimate that this hike will take us around 6 to 7 hours. 

Please note - NOT dog friendly: Due to the varied terrain, involving climbs as well as the possibility of live stock on our route, we would not recommend bringing a dog with you.
